Cessna 172 “Skyhawk” – Seaplane – Registrations: I-GABU, I-BISB, I-PVLC, I-GDRX, I-SAAB.
The single-engine piston Cessna 172 (C172N & C172P) forms the backbone of the fleet of Aero Club Como.
A perfect trainer, this aircraft is not only solid and highly reliable, but also easy to use and economical for a flying club.
The 4-cylinder engine Lycoming O-320, type D2J, delivers 160 HP at 2700 rpm. The floats installed are the EDO 2130, slightly longer – and therefore more reliable than those originally available for the model.
Cessna 172M “Skyhawk” – Amphibian – Registration: I-GNHR.
The Cessna 172M amphibianwith engine O-360 180 HP and floating Wipaire 2350, a full fleet of 5 Cessna hydro, one of which is expected to be equipped with floats amphibians.
Cessna 206 "Stationair" – Seaplane and Amphibian – Registration: SE-MLE.
The Cessna 206 (U206G) The Cessna 206 (U206G) is the largest single-engine piston produced by Textron-Cessna. The engine installed is the Continental IO-550, which provides 300 HP at 2700 rpm, compared with the original I-520. The aircraft is equipped with a dual set of floats; the PK 3500 are the straight floats, the amphibians one are the Wipaire Wipline 3730.
SE-MLE is equipped with two STOL kits (short takeoff and landing), which ensure take off and landing speeds much lower than those of the original model, resulting in reduced stress on the structures, better distance roll and greater safety of the operations.
Propeller and exhaust system have been specially chosen to reduce the noise impact, as well as the engine delivers an output power equal to or higher than that of the original engine, but at 150 rpm less, with a significant reduction of the noise.
Piper PA 18 "Super Cub" – Amphibian – Registration: I-GEGE.
The Piper PA 18 (PA18-150) is a single engine piston two-seater with a great performance, especially valuable in mountainous areas for its remarkable features STOL (short takeoff and landing).
The engine installed is the Lycoming O-360 which delivers 180 HP at 2700 rpm. The floats mounted are the Wipaire Wipline 2100 amphibious.
