The Flight School of Aero Club Como - IT.DTO.004 (compliant with the standards set by EASA and the Italian Civil Aviation Authority), the oldest in the world, is the only significant European reality for the training of seaplane and amphibian pilots.
Do you want to try new emotions?
At our Flight School will be able to achieve the Private Pilot licence (PPL) that will open the doors to the world of flight and will enable you, if you wish, access to courses to build your career as a professional pilot.
If you are already a holder of a pilot license, at our DTO (Declared Training Organisation), you can get the rating to fly Single Engine piston seaplanes SEP (Sea) and, thanks to the use of our Single Engine piston amphibians also SEP (Land).
With our seaplanes/amphibians "COMPLEX", you can also get difference training such as, for example: VP/RU (Variable Pitch/Retractable Undercarriage).
At the Aero Club Como Flight School you can also do: ICAO license conversion, Revalidation/Renewal of SEP (Sea) and SEP (Land) ratings, in addition you can also achieve the English Level proficiency (ELP) with an authorised examiner.
The Advanced course for Seaplane pilots it will help you hone your skills in advanced operations such as: landing on unprepared beaches and shores, operations on alpine lakes, sea and rivers and much more.
The Aero Club Como also offers a Introductory course PPL (A). The goal of the Introductory Course for the Private Pilot's License (A), is to provide the basic notions and the early practical experience necessary to obtain the Private Pilot License PPL (A).
It takes place in six flying lessons, which are preceded by six briefing, in the environment of the Lake of Como.
