Over 100 years of history
L’Aero Club Comofounded in 1930, is the oldest organisation of flight with seaplanes and flying school hydro in the world as certified by Guinness World Records
Manages the flight school for pilots, seaplane most important on the continent, both for those who start from zero and for those who are already a pilot and want to complete his training with the enabling hydro. There are courses for the achievement of the private pilot licence (PPL), forenabling SEP SEA and SEP LAND, and further to use the advanced of the seaplanes.
The fleet
La flotta dell’Aero Club Como comprende 11 idrovolanti ed è l’unica che include tutti i tipi: con galleggianti a scafo, idrovolanti puri, e anfibi. Con questi ultimi si opera anche su aeroporti, come con qualsiasi normale aereo.
Of particular interest are the seaplanes historians, in perfect conditions of the flight, which offer riders the exclusive pleasure of using machines designed and built in the ’40s.
L’Aero Club Como also operates:
- the Seaplane International Como;
- A documentation centre, a consultancy service to organisations and operators of the various countries of the world for the realization of idroscali and the plant activities with seaplanes.
