On the occasion of the Palio Sestese seaplanes return to Sesto Calende

The traditional Palio Sestese, which was postponed due to Covid, did not ultimately interrupt the tradition of flying over Lake Maggiore. On Saturday 12 September the Aero Club Como attended with several seaplanes, a custom dear to the Larian institution.

A tradition that binds neighbouring territories. The program, created to give introductory flights to the seplane discipline, included a flight, lasting about 20 minutes, with take-off from the Ticino River, a flight over the city towards Lake Maggiore; the time of a passage between the two fortresses (that of Angera and Arona, just where Lake Maggiore narrows) and then return to the starting point.

Because flying with Aero Club Como makes all lakes closer and more accessible….
